Managed KYC and AML compliance

Not another KYC tool. A managed compliance service.

We run customer due diligence for regulated businesses. Our platform does the checks, our analysts investigate what they find, and your MLRO keeps the decisions.

Early access is open to a limited number of businesses.

Managed

Our analysts do the investigative work, not just the checks. You are buying a finished process, not another tool to run.

Mutualised

Each customer is verified once and reused, with their permission, across the businesses they choose.

Accountable

Evidenced work you can stand behind. The decisions the law reserves for you stay with you.

How it works

Due diligence, cleared.

Every regulated business checks the same people again and again, and the duplication protects nobody. A clearing house nets duplicate exposures so that each participant carries less risk. idclear does the same for customer due diligence.

Each business still receives the evidence its own obligations require.

  1. Onboard

One journey in your branding, for individuals and companies, asking only what your policy requires.

  2. Verify and screen

Documents, biometrics, sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media and wallet exposure.

  3. Investigate and evidence

Our analysts clear the alerts. You receive an indicative risk assessment with its evidence and rationale.

  4. Monitor and reuse

Continuous monitoring, plus a shortcut for returning customers when they allow it.

The managed service

Software finds the signals. Our analysts investigate them. You decide.

Automated checks are the easy part. The cost of compliance is in what follows: false positives, unresolved matches and ownership structures that need a person to unpick them. That is the work we take on.

What we run

  • Collects and verifies customer data and documents
  • Maps ownership to every beneficial owner
  • Screens people, companies and wallets, and resolves false positives
  • Investigates alerts and performs enhanced due diligence
  • Produces an indicative risk assessment with its rationale
  • Monitors, refreshes and keeps the records

What stays with you

  • Approving your risk assessment, policies and controls
  • Attributing each customer's risk rating
  • Deciding whether to take on or keep a customer
  • Reporting suspicions to your financial intelligence unit

Article 18 of the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation lets regulated firms outsource due diligence tasks but reserves these decisions to the firm. idclear is built around that line.

DeFi protocols

Verified participants in your pools without holding their documents, through on-chain attestations now in pilot.

Payments, e-money and fintech

Faster onboarding for consumers and merchants, with monitoring and case handling you do not have to staff.

Banks and lenders

Onboarding and periodic review run to your policy, with files your supervisor can follow.

Funds, wealth and professional services

Ownership mapped to every beneficial owner for funds, law firms, accountants and corporate service providers.

Somewhere else in the regulated economy?

If anti-money laundering rules apply to you, the service is designed for you too.

Tell us what you onboard
Your customers

Your customers’ data stays theirs.

Each customer verifies once and stays in control. Their profile is encrypted and shared with a business only when they allow it, and a free portal shows them every share: what, with whom and when.

  • Fewer repeat document requests
  • Fewer abandoned sign-ups
  • Fewer genuine customers wrongly turned away

The one exception is a disclosure the law requires, for example to a financial intelligence unit. Withdrawing a permission stops further sharing; records a business must keep by law are kept for the period the law requires.

Questions

The short answers.

What compliance teams ask us most. Anything else, write to info@idclear.com.

What is idclear?

idclear is a managed compliance service for regulated businesses, based in Gibraltar. We run customer due diligence on your behalf: identity and business verification, sanctions, politically exposed person and adverse media screening, wallet screening, investigations and ongoing monitoring. Each customer is verified once and can reuse that verified profile, with their permission, with other businesses that use idclear.

How is idclear different from a KYC software tool?

A KYC tool gives you checks and leaves your team to work the alerts. idclear does that work too: our analysts resolve potential matches, investigate, and give you an indicative risk assessment with its evidence and rationale, under a methodology you approve.

Who decides whether to take on a customer?

You do. Your MLRO attributes each customer’s risk rating and decides whether to take on or keep the relationship, and suspicious activity reporting stays with you. That is the line Article 18 of the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation draws for outsourcing.

How does reusable KYC protect customers’ data?

Each customer’s verified profile is encrypted and shared with a business only when the customer allows it. A free portal shows them every share: what, with whom and when. The one exception is a disclosure the law requires, for example to a financial intelligence unit.

Is idclear designed for the EU AMLR?

Yes. idclear is designed as an outsourcing service provider under Article 18 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1624, which applies from 10 July 2027, and to support reliance between regulated clients where its conditions are met.

Does idclear work for crypto-asset businesses and DeFi?

Yes. Exchanges and crypto-asset service providers get wallet screening alongside identity checks, and DeFi protocols can admit verified participants through on-chain attestations, now in pilot, without holding their documents.

Is idclear available now?

idclear is preparing for launch, and early access is open to a limited number of regulated businesses. To book a demo, email info@idclear.com.
